The California EMS Authority (EMSA)has released interim guidance for EMS system regulators and provider agencies regarding changes to EMS law. You can read the memo here, which includes information about the statutory changes in effect now and EMSA’s plans to update regulations in accordance with the law.

Going forward, Coastal Valleys EMS Agency will work with our provider agencies within Sonoma and Mendocino Counties to implement the mandated changes to the way we deal with data in our system. The topic of EMS data will be on the agenda for both Mendocino and Sonoma County EMCC meetings over the next few months.
