Public Comment STEMI Regulations

The California EMS Authority (EMSA) has released a proposed addition to California Code of Regulations Title 22 Division 9 for public comment. The proposed chapter “7.1 ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) Critical Care System Regulations” provides structure for Local EMS Agencies to implement organized systems of STEMI care within the EMS system, including minimum standards and data requirements which will be applicable statewide.

Second 45-Day Comment Period on Changes to California Chapter 2 Regulations

The Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) is proposing to revise the California Code of Regulations, Division 9, Title 22, Chapter 2. Emergency Medical Technicians.

The public is invited to submit written comments on the proposed regulations during the 2nd 45-day public comment period from December 2, 2016 through January 15, 2016.

Treatment Guideline 8019 Sepsis Alert

Please see the final version of Treatment Guideline #8019 Sepsis Alert.

System wide implementation is to be completed by January 1, 2017. All agencies are responsible for care provider policy education.

The policy is available on the CVEMSA Website in addition to distribution through CVEMSA EMCC and MAC mailing lists. Please distribute within your organizations and stakeholder groups as appropriate.
